Laura & Drew

Elegant and Candlelit.  Two words that describe Drew and Laura's December 20th, 2008 wedding!!  Rich shades of burgundy and merlot accented the champagne, gold and ivory decor.  Candles lit the ballroom aglow, and cranberries were drenched in the centerpieces that held floating candles.  A wreath of black magic roses and hypercium berries adorned the outer perimeter of the candles on each table.
Laura was a trooper and a "Do It Yourself" bride- with her custom table numbers, memory table, cocktail napkins, menu cards, programs, and much more!  The guests loved all the thought that was put into this wedding!
The ceremony took place at dusk at Towson United Methodist Church in Towson, MD.  The cocktail hour and reception followed at Hunt Valley Golf Club in Phoenix, MD (just outside of Baltimore).  The guests were entertained and danced the night away, all courtesy of The Fabulous Greaseband (who even dressed up in appropriate costumes while singing the cover "Grease Lightening"!!)  It was such a pleasure to have Photos by Mandi and her assistant, Emily Porter, capture the amazing images from Drew and Laura's special day!!!  Definitely check her out.!!  Finally, the gorgeous flowers and centerpieces were created by Regency Florist.
Planning and coordinating weddings is something I do every day... so being able to attend this wedding, and actually be a member of the bridal party- was such an honor!!!  I must admit, my DOC-nature didn't take a back seat the entire night... I had my bridal emergency kit close by (which came in handy!), and helped to make sure that all the details Laura worked so hard on were photographed!  Needless to say, I wanted to share all of Laura and Drew's hard work off to you, so you can all see that a winter wedding can be FABULOUS and FESTIVE!
The ringbearer, Riley, was a heartbreaker!!!  SO adorable!
In between the ceremony and reception the couple went to walk their beloved dog... made for a really cute photo op!
They had a custom martini luge with their signature drink!  HUGE hit!
A very popular new trend in weddings is a "Heritage Table."  Laura and Drew incorporated pictures of their parents and grandparents on their Special Day.
For favors, they adorned a Christmas tree with various ornaments and attached a cute note letting guests know they were theirs to keep...
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
