Jamie & Chris

Jamie and I first started working together on her wedding back in January of 2008.  She was one of Remember This Day's first clients... and from the very beginning, I knew how special her day was going to be!!  See- Jamie and I have a few things in common: our attention to detail, our taste in wedding decor, and our love for weddings!
This amazing couple was married on a flawless late spring day at Saint Joseph's on the Brandywine.  Not a cloud in the sky... and abundant sunshine filled the day!!
Having a DOC really comes in handy when one of your bridesmaids needs a last-minute dress fix prior to the ceremony!! Hard at work.....
Jamie's mother made beautiful silk floral arrangments for the altar and pews.  Jamie worked diligently with Erin and T.J. Proud from Proud to Plan  on their customized programs, invitations, table numbers and various other signage used throughout their wedding- and the end result was nothing short of fabulous!!  The stationery really pulled all of the details and color scheme together and made it cohesive, with a touch of flair.
. The guests enjoyed the cocktails and dancing in the candlelit library, while the outdoor patio was later lined with hurricane vases and candles leading into the abundant rose gardens.
Following Jamie and Chris' touching Mass, the couple went to Winterthur for some spectacular pictures, and then the bridal party followed them to the gorgeous Greenville Country Club for more pictures in their rose garden (which was in FULL bloom!!).  The bride and her bridesmaids rented our parasols for some unique garden pictures, too!!  Linda, from Greenville CC was awesome- we worked together and made sure that Jamie and Chris' day went just as they have always imagined it!
The dance floor was packed all night long, thanks to Marquee Band

This wedding is a perfect example of how to incorporate your love of the color PINK without overdoing it or having the Groom feel like it's too "girly."   Jamie chose a raspberry bridesmaid dress color, along with various shades of lighter pinks and whites for the centerpieces (provided by the fabulous Wise Originals!!)  This allowed for Jamie and Chris' vision of a fresh, garden wedding to come to life.  Candlelight adorned the cocktail hour, which took place on the outdoor terrace, as well as the mantels in the beautiful ballroom.
I was so honored to be a part of this beautiful couple's wedding day... it went flawlessly- thanks to Jamie's exceptional attention to details, Remember This Day pulling all of those details together and keeping things on schedule, and the amazing vendors that the couple hired for their BIG day!!
Joe from BBS Photography was on point all day and evening and amazed all of us with the stunning photographs that he took!!!  MANY thanks to him for providing these beautiful images for our blog!
We also had the pleasure of working with the great Ken Stillman of Kenneth Stillman Video, who made sure that Jamie and Chris' wedding day was filmed perfectly so that they can look back and Remember This Day for years to come….
Congratulations to the Newlyweds!!!!  :-)
