Donna & David

Where do I start?!  I've been waiting for this wedding for a long time... as have Donna and Dave!!  Donna was the VERY first client of Remember This Day- way back in January of 2008 when I started my company!  This was the first wedding that we worked on from (almost) the beginning (comparable to our recently added "Molto" package).... and it was so awesome seeing everything come together as Donna had envisioned it!  Not a detail was left out- and the guests noticed every last bit of thought that Donna put into her wedding- and it was so nice to know that we helped her out along the way!!  It was such an honor to help Donna & Dave coordinate and plan their wedding... and I'm so happy to have found a friend in Donna, in the process!!
And, in case you're wondering- Beth from Gloss Salon made all of the ladies in the Bridal Party look truly spectacular (she was working with a gorgeous group- so it made her job even easier!!)
This amazing couple exchanged vows in a truly unique and heartwarming ceremony, presided by the fabulous Rev. Natalie Kita Soulmates Ceremonies at the Courtyard pavillion in the Hilton Wilmington-Christiana.  David and Donna put a lot of work into their ceremony, and the sand unity portion was such a wonderful touch!  It incorporated both David and Donna, as well as all of their children- to signify their vows not only uniting one another, but also joining their families!
Pale blues and lavendar hues were used throughout the wedding- and small butterfly accents really added character!  It was the perfect harmony of soft colors and butterfly accents, without going overboard!!  The stationery (invitations, programs, table numbers/menu cards, etc) was all custom-designed by Erin & T.J. at Proud to Plan- and received many compliments!
The cocktail hour was held in the Hilton's sophisticated "Hunt Lounge"- which boasted specialty frozen beverages after the ceremony, and an amazing butterfly ice sculpture!
The reception followed in the "Le Chameleon" ballroom at the Hilton- where Judy from Creations for Celebrations created exquisite centerpieces and arrangements that included submerged roses in a cylinder vase with blue and lavendar flowers adorning the top!!  They were quite the conversation-starter!!  The cake was a main focal point of the reception- with such intrique design and attention to detail- Sweets to You...by Ginger did an awesome job- and it was delicious (from what I'm told!!!)
The guests thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and dancing- as Don from D&J Entertainment D & J Disc Jockeys spinned tunes all night long!!  Martin's Accent Video provided the videography that will last a lifetime... and Pete Lounsbury was a pleasure to work with!!  MANY thanks to him for providing us with these beautiful images for our website!!
Many years of happiness to Donna & Dave!!  You deserve nothing but the best!!  :-)
