It is with GREAT pride and excitement that Remember This Day announces that we are volunteering our time, effort and expertise in helping to plan this AMAZING non-profit event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!!!! We are SOOO excited to share this day with you....
On Friday, October 14th the Delaware Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will host its annual nationwide Light The Night Walk at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. The Delaware Chapter goal for 2011 is to draw over 2,000 participants and raise over $325,000! With support like yours, we know our event will be a magical one!Light The Night Walk events are evenings filled with inspiration. During this leisurely walk, walkers carry illuminated balloons - white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer - thousands of walkers form a community of caring, bringing light to the dark world of cancer. Thousands of participants raise funds for lifesaving research and patient services and, on these special nights in Delaware, they carry illuminated balloons to show the support of a caring community.
LLS is a nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of individual and corporate contributions to advance its mission.
