Jaime & Chad: Classic Chic with "DIY" Flair

This wedding was one of our favorites that we've had the honor to plan/coordinate this year!!  We've known Chad for over twelve years (from our first jobs in high school), he sold us our first house, and we had the pleasure of working with him and his awesome fiancee, Jaime, when they got engaged!  By the way- if you are in need of a Real Estate Agent- check him out!!!

Jaime is a girl after my own heart... extremely detail-oriented, "Type A" personality, go-getter attitude and knows exactly what she wants!  It was because of all these unique "DIY" details that she and Chad worked so diligently on, that they knew they needed some help in making sure that their wedding day "vision" was executed properly and that everything came together the way they had always dreamed of.  That's where Remember This Day came into action!

Jaime and Chad didn't miss a beat when it came to ensuring that their Brantwyn Estate wedding would be anything but "cookie-cutter."  The girls got ready at the fabulous Hotel duPont, the ceremony took place in the lovely Lower Garden, and the reception followed under the stars in a gorgeous tent!

The two previous weekends both brought rain (and yes, we did have outdoor weddings to coordinate both rainy weekends, too!)- but the weather "Gods" blessed us with an absolutely gorgeous day for their outdoor ceremony and tented reception on the lovely duPont grounds!  The navy blue and gray/silver color scheme were offset with "pops" of pink and fuschia.  Many thanks to Jenna, Jim and Harry from Brantwyn, who helped us to pull everything together without a hitch!

While viewing these absolutely fabulous images from Bartlett Pair Photography (who was awesome to work with- such rockstars!!!!  and also- let's admit, had two beautiful "subjects" to photograph!), please keep your eyes open for all of Jaime and Chad's personal details they infused with their personalities for their special day... especially the custom floral initials, drink stirrers, etched chalkboard bar signs, trivia games on each table, custom water bottles, white and fuschia floating flowers for the pond in the Lower Garden (along with hurricane vases with floating candles and flowers!), gerber daisy place card holders, wicker fans hanging from the ceremony chairs, unique "tree/leaf" guest book, and all of their perfect stationery, too!!

This was one wedding surely for "the books"!!!  And I apologize in advance for the abundance of beautiful photographs below- I just couldn't narrow them down... slightly obsessed with this wedding!
